Houghton – The Diabetes Dash for Copper Country Kids will be held on Saturday, January 9 from 10 a.m. to noon in the SDC Multipurpose room on the Michigan Tech Campus in Houghton.
The Diabetes Dash for Copper Country Kids will be like an indoor field day, with a special emphasis on health education. Children from around our area are invited to participate in activities and fun-filled games around the SDC’s track. Light, healthful snacks will be available for sale. Admission is $10 for a family, $5 for individuals.
Please plan on attending this fun-filled day with your families. With your support, the Copper Country can contribute to the effort to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes.
