Marquette – The Center for Upper Peninsula Studies at Northern Michigan University will offer a free historical walking tour on Tuesday, July 28 led by historian Russell Magnaghi.
The tour will begin at 9:50 a.m. in front of the West Science Building at NMU. It will cover portions of the campus and the university's 110-year history.
Participants will then drive to Park Cemetery, visit graves of past figures in Marquette history and learn how a cemetery can be a resource for historians.
