Marquette – The Global Issues Film Series will present “Let the Church Say Amen” on Wednesday, December 16 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
Blocks away from the White House stands a tiny storefront church endeavoring to combat the street violence, unemployment and homelessness that threaten American families living in poverty. Over a course of a year, this documentary follows four church members as they work to fulfill their dreams for a better life.
