Marquette – The Blueberry Festival will be held on Friday, July 24 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in downtown Marquette.
Downtown shops will offer “blue specials” and the streets will fill with sidewalk sales, food vendors, artists, crafters, and activities for children, including Abra Cadabra Arcade Jumps and pony rides.
Downtown restaurants will offer everything Blueberry from cheesecake to Blueberry drinks.
The second annual “Blueberry Dance Festival” will feature free dance lessons from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Youth Talent Show will be at 11 a.m. on the corner of Front and Washington Streets and the entertainment will continue with live music during the “Blueberry Jam” beginnning at 1:15 p.m.
The Marquette City Band will present a concert at the Marquette Commons at 5 p.m. featuring the Marquette Arts and Culture Center Youth Theater.
