Marquett – The Northern Michigan University music department will present a free student/faculty jazz combo concert on Friday, December 4 at 7:30 p.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall at NMU.
This concert is a tribute to the famous band leader Red Norvo, who established the xylophone and vibraphone as jazz instruments. The combo will recreate small combo music and transcriptions of solos by Norvo.
