Kingsford – The second annual U.P. BAD (Bikers Against Diabetes) Ride will take place Saturday, July 18, in conjunction with the Hog Wild Barbecue and Music Festival at Lodal Park in Kingsford.
Riders will start from their hometowns and arrive in Kingsford during the afternoon. Pre-registered participants who arrive between noon and 4 p.m. CST will have the opportunity to park their bike in the gated area at the event.
Donations to the BAD Ride will be accepted at the festival by UPDON staff and volunteers.
Ticket, food and beverage sales will support Camp UPeninsulin (formerly Diabetes Kids Camp).
Additional donations collected by BAD Riders are tax deductible and will be used to help fund the U.P. Diabetes Outreach Network's Diabetes Endowment.
