The U.P. Trappers Association invites the public to the 63rd Annual U.P. Trappers Convention & Outdoor Expo, taking place Friday and Saturday, July 11th & 12th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the U.P. State Fairgrounds in Escanaba, Michigan.
The largest event of its kind in the Midwest, this family-friendly expo features famous trappers from across the U.S., top hunting and trapping supply vendors, gun and knife dealers, and local crafters, offering attractions that appeal to all ages. Visitors can enjoy browsing unique outdoor gear and handmade goods, exploring vendor specials, and taking part in activities suitable for kids and families.
Camping is available on-site, and admission is just $10 for both days. Kids 12 and under get in free.
Friday Night Fish Fry Returns!
Held in the Miracle of Life Building, this beloved evening event kicks off Friday, July 11th with doors opening at 4:00 p.m. and dinner served at 6:00. Enjoy locally caught bluegills, lively raffles, and an evening of fun—all in support of scientific wildlife conservation.

Only 200 tickets are available for the Friday Fish Fry. At just $25 each, attendees will enjoy a delicious meal and be entered to win fantastic raffle prizes.
