Big Bay – The Yellow Dog Watershed Preserve will offer a walking tour of 180 acres of forestland and a talk on sustainable forestry on Saturday, July 18, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Yellow Dog office in Big Bay.
A retired DNR forester managing his property for maple syrup production will discuss selective cutting and human/ecological value.
