Negaunee – The Marquette County Humane Society is sponsoring a “Purr, Play, Snuggle” adoption drive Friday, July 17 through Sunday, July 19 featuring a 50 percent discount on all cat and kitten adoption fees.
Many cats are currently at available for reduced fees or are sponsored by caring supporters in an effort to help more cats find permanent homes and lessen the severe overcrowding at the shelter.
The adoption fee includes the spay or neuter, a health check and vaccinations. Adopters also receive a 4 pound bag of Science Diet cat food and an Animal Planet “Your Adopted Cat” DVD.
