A series of photographs taken at night of the Lake Superior and Ishpeming Railroad's ore dock in Marquette, Michigan on Saturday, August 23, 2008.
I just missed photographing the ore boat that was anchored there loading up on coal produced by Cleveland Cliff's Mining Company. Lake Superior was pretty calm considering the brisk winds that I had just felt while down at the Marquette Exchange Club's Seafood Fest held at Elwood Mattson Lower Harbor Park a few minutes earlier.
