The Marquette Senior High School Redettes varsity volleyball team held a triangular meet with the Ishpeming Hematites and Negaunee Miners. MSHS defeated the Ishpeming Hematites (25-13, 25-10)and the Negaunee Miners (25-17, 25-22)in non-conference action in Marquette, Michigan on Tuesday, September 9, 2008.
Marquette's high powered offense led by Whitney Truscott, Jessica Stonerock and Katie Baker proved to be too much for the inexperienced Hematites. Truscott also provided great defense as well.
