The Negaunee Miners defeated the Menominee Maroons by a score of 13-12 in the first round of the MHSAA football playoffs at Miners Stadium in Negaunee, Michigan on November 1, 2008.
The Miners will now face the Gladstone Braves at Miners Stadium on November 8, 2008.
