The Marquette Electricians defeated the Lansing Capitals by a score of 5-1 on November 23, 2008 at Lakeview Arena in Marquette, Michigan.
Saturdays game ended with both coaches being kicked off of their benches, the parents and fans were expressing their disgust at the opposing teams coaches and players as well as the referees and both teams players appeared to be chipping away at each others patience as the game came to a close. I expected that Sunday mornings game was going to be a physical and mental battle.
I was not disappointed. With three, five minute majors, two fights and a few close calls – the Lansing Capitals were up against a very determined Electricians team. They were not going to back down an inch. Andrew Mills was solid in net.
