On October 8th 700 acres of newly engineered wetlands along the proposed Iron Ore Heritage Trail will be opened to the public for the first time. The ribbon-cutting comes as a result of the Iron Ore heritage Recreation Authority partnering with Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. and Republic Township. Director of Development for the Lake Superior Community Partnership Carol Fulsher comments on the event.
