The Marquette Area Public Schools Board of Education decided to stop offering K-3 classes at Vandenboom Elementary starting in the 2009-2010 school year. The building will be repurposed and the K-3 classes will be consolidated to Sandy Knoll, Cherry Creek, and Superior Hills schools. Dr. Mark Smith, Trustee of the Board of Education, comments.
