Marquette – In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the filming of “Anatomy of a Murder,” Northern Michigan University, the Peter White Public Library and the Anatomy of a Murder 50th Anniversary Celebration Committee will sponsor an all-day symposium on filmmaking on Monday, June 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mead Auditorium at NMU.
Keynote speaker Dr. Foster Hirsch will present on director Otto Preminger. Hirsch is a professor of film at Brooklyn College in New York and recently published a biography of Preminger.
