Covington – The 11th Annual Finnish Music Festival will be held on Saturday, June 27, from 11 a.m to 11 p.m. at the Covington Pavilion and Event Center on M-28 in Covington.
This event features Finnish music, dancing, workshops and great food throughout the day. There is an outside stage and an inside stage that will keep everyone entertained.
Performers include: Tanja Stanaway, Helmer Toyras, Kivajat Dancers, Courtney Clish, Raimo Juntunen Hewlett, White Water, Thimbleberry Band, Terhi Miikki Broersma (Finlandia Foundations Performer of the Year), Wil Kilpela and Friends, and the Derrell Syria Project.
Food will be served all day long. The admission (at the door) for the entire day and all events is $10 for adults, $5 for youth (age 8 to 16) with children under 8 free.
