The YMCA of Marquette County is taking registrations and seeking volunteers for its 8th Annual Run/Walk, to be held on April 26. The purpose of the event is to raise funds for the Strong Kids Scholarship program. The event is open to all, from the highly competitive to the folks who just want to go for a run or walk to support the YMCA.
The family fun event will include a 10 mile, 10k and 5 k non-competitive walk, one mile youth run and a toddler trot. Refreshments will be provided. Check in and registration closes at 8:30 a.m. on race day. For more information, call Jenna Zdunek at 227-9622.
