The Negaunee Downtown Devolvement Authority is excited to announce the return of Heikki Lunta! We are pleased to announce that we will be co-hosting part of our event with the Meijer State Games. The festival begins Friday night, February 6 and runs until Sunday, February 8, 2026.
The weekend will kick-off with Meijer State Games opening ceremony. This will be promptly followed by the Irontown Rail Jam Ski and Snowboard Competition in Downtown Negaunee, Friday evening.
Saturday includes the Teal Lake Ice Fishing Tournament, activities at both the UP-Luge Club and the Ishpeming Ski Club, Family Sledding and Gourmet Smores Bar, Snow Shoe Tours, miniature horse rides, live music, fireworks and more! Sunday tops off the weekend with the Freeze Yer Fanny Snowcross Bike Race, a pasty eating contest and other events.
