Road to Restoration clinics coming to Ironwood, Ontonagon, and Marquette

The Michigan Secretary of State, along with state and community partners, will hold Road to Restoration clinics in Ironwood on Sept. 9, Ontonagon on Sept. 10, and Marquette on Sept. 12. The free clinics help guide eligible drivers on the path to restoring their driving privileges.

Michigan Department of State experts and volunteer attorneys will provide one-on-one consultations with attendees to check their current license status and answer questions on how they can safely return behind the wheel. Secretary of State services will be available on site, including vision testing and the written driver’s exam.

Residents are encouraged to register ahead of time for the clinics and can find more information at Michigan.gov/R2R. Participants are asked to bring payment for their driving record ($16) or to print out their driving record the day before and bring it to the clinic. If participants are eligible to have their license restored at the clinic, they will need the appropriate documents on hand: ID, birth certificate, and proof of residency.

Members of the media are invited to attend the clinic and interviews with staff and participants can be arranged. Please RSVP by emailing MDOS-Press@Michigan.gov.
