The annual Juried Exhibition at the DeVos Art Museum; North of the 45TH is accepting submissions from regional upper midwest artists for their show this summer. This exhibition is touted as giving artists within Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota (living above the 45th parallel) the opportunity to exhibit their work in one of the premier art museums of the Upper Peninsula. The Juror this year is Rebecca Heidenberg. Heidenberg is a curator, filmmaker, and co-founder of the Minneapolis gallery Dreamsong and an active participant in art fairs such as: Frieze Los Angeles, Expo Chicago, and The Armory Show and in 2021, Heidenberg launched Twin Cities Art Week.
This show is open to all artists within Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, that are 18 years or older. All mediums and practices are welcome, however submitted works need to have been created within the last 3 years for consideration. There will be cash prizes and awards for; Jurors Choice and Audience Choice.
