Call for Artists: Exhibits at PWPL in 2026

Marquette, MI- The City of Marquette Office of Arts and Culture and Peter White Public Library invites artists to submit proposals for the 2026 Public Gallery Program. This collaborative program provides formal exhibit space for local and regional artists in the Deo Gallery and Huron Mountain Club Gallery, which features bi-monthly rotating exhibits showcasing a diverse range of professional and community art.

Artists interested in exhibiting should download the 2026 Public Gallery Program application online and submit it via email following the provided instructions. Paper copies are also available at each gallery, the PWPL Circulation Desk, and the City of Marquette Arts and Culture Office. There is no fee to apply, and each applicant may only submit one proposal. The deadline for submissions is midnight on Sunday, March 16th, 2025.

For more information on exhibits, gallery spaces, and the application process, visit this website. Application questions may be directed to Andrea Ingmire, PWPL Director.

Press Inquiries should be directed to Amelia Pruiett, City of Marquette Communication and Marketing Coordinator.

Receptions are free to attend. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of PWPL. Artist talks and interactive art activities will be featured in both gallery spaces.
