Dates for the Island’s ExBeerience Tasting Event and Two Exciting Performances!
(Harris, MI)- The Island Resort & Casino and Radio Results Network announce the return of their premier tasting event– the Island’s Total ExBEERience and more! This event features beer, wine and spirits by Michigan artisans, on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm in the Island Convention Center. Tickets are $50 and go on sale starting February 13th, 2025 at 10:00am ET.
Total ExBEERience and more attendees will have unlimited sample tasting from more than 60 varieties of Michigan craft beer, wine, ciders and spirits. Complimentary light hors d’oeuvres are served and there are random prize giveaways throughout the event, including a Grand Prize Casino Package valued at over $1,000. Guests may take advantage of 50% off a standard hotel room at the Island Resort & Casino with the purchase of 2 full-price tickets, by mentioning code BEER25 when making a reservation.
“Relive the Classics and Celebrate the Legends”
The Island Resort & Casino, together with Radio Results Network, announce the next two performances to headline in the Island Showroom.
“J.D. Fortune Rocks INXS” is scheduled for Saturday, June 21, 2025. This concert features Canadian singer-songwriter J.D. Fortune performing songs by the Australian rock band INXS, including “Pretty Vegas”, “Devil’s Party”, “Never Tear Us Apart”, and “Need You Tonight.”
For seven years, J.D. Fortune toured the world as the charismatic front man of the Australian rock band INXS after winning the CBS reality television series Rock Star: INXS against 50,000 other singers worldwide, replacing the late Michael Hutchence. Together they recorded Switch, their first studio album with Fortune, and the only album with new INXS material after the death of Hutchence. It went multi-platinum and Fortunes co-write “Pretty Vegas” was INXS’s highest debut single ever on the Billboard charts.
Then on Saturday, July 5, 2025, don’t miss ALWAYS LORETTA– The World’s ONLY Authentic Re-creation of a Loretta Lynn Concert. The Coalminers– the band who toured with Loretta Lynn for over 40 years in front of more than 25 million fans at 5000+ shows worldwide– continues to celebrate the Queen of Country with this amazing presentation featuring Emily Portman as Loretta.
Together, The Coalminers and Emily deliver a 90-minute concert that is a wonderfully authentic glimpse into the touring world of Loretta Lynn– an evening of music and memories honoring The Queen of Country and her legendary career by a good friend who sounds just like her and by the band who knew her best. Audiences are treated to the biggest hits from Loretta’s legendary career, and other fan favorites that only occasionally made it into the normal tour song list. A highlight of the show is the “Get to Know Loretta” section, where The Coalminers take questions from the audience and share funny stories about life on the road with Loretta. The show is approved and authorized by the Loretta Lynn Estate.
