Tuesday, November 19th
Dungeons and Dragons 4:00pm until 6:00pm- PWPL has partnered up with Iron Golem Games to bring Dungeons and Dragons to the public library! Located in the Community Room, Jordan, from Iron Golem Games and local DM’s, will lead groups of teens on an epic quest with this role-playing game. For students within grades 6-12. PWPL Board of Trustees Meeting 5:00pm until 7:00pm- The regular monthly Board of Trustees Meeting of the Peter White Public Library will be held in the George Shiras III Room. Meeting agenda, materials, and remote attendance link are available here.
Yvonne Osborne Reading Let Evening Come 6:30pm until 7:30pm- Join the PWPL in welcoming Novelist Yvonne Osborne while she reads from her recently released book, Let Evening Come, a love story between the son of an Indigenous family displaced from their ancestral home on the Tar Sands of Canada, and a motherless farm girl from Michigan. Fandom Fun: Zen 4:30PM until 5:30pm- Chill and unwind with the Peter White Public Library! Located in the Peter White Public Library Great Room, stretch your bodies with animal yoga, play in Zen garden sensory bins, and make your own mesmerizing calming jar. Embrace mindfulness and relaxation in a serene environment designed to soothe your mind and body. Children under the age of 8 will need an adult in the program with them. No admission charge! Stories & Songs: A Concert 6:30pm until 7:30pm- Join 2022 Marquette Performance Artist of the Year Troy Graham and some of his musical friends for a concert of songs, stories, and thanks. AS perfect way to kick off the gratitude season! Free admission! Click here for more information.
