HarborFest 2024 Kickoff With Summer Strings @ 6:30pm

Marquette, MI –

The iconic (and free) HarborFest of Marquette, Michigan is a go! Today, August 22nd at 6:30pm the Marquette Symphony Summer Strings opens the festival for the weekend. They’ll be playing until 8:30pm, offering relaxing and classical styles of elegant sound. While they play their song, you can get the lay of the land for the weekend. Find your favorite spot to set up your blankets, chairs, parasols, and whatever else. Then, you’ll have a chance to find yourself a meal! Remember, for any and all information on HarborFest, simply visit the website, here.

This year at HarborFest there are a plethora of vendors. Many you know! You can view the whole list HERE. For food one of our favorites, Dia De Los Tacos will be there! For fun, Fairy Mary Facepainting will also be in attendance. Specifically for the kids, Double Trouble DJ’s is bringing their bounce houses! The fest is set up for success with all of these awesome local businesses to support.

Speaking of success, the HarborFest Lineup is solid and diverse. We’ve already mentioned the Symphony Summer Strings for today, but there are all sorts of styles of music to enjoy over the weekend. You can easily check the lineup by visiting the HarborFest Music Lineup on marquettewestrotary.org

No matter what plans you and your buddies, family, and/or coworkers are cooking up for this years HarborFest celebration, you can rely on the Marquette West Rotary to deliver an exciting weekend full of memories. Let’s not forget HarborFest is totally FREE to attend, so tell EVERYONE. All proceeds from drinks purchased will go to the Marquette West Rotary’s efforts to donate money to non-profits around Marquette in the form of grants. Essentially, the more you enjoy your HarborFest, the more good it does in our community, so on behalf of the MWR, we’d like to thank all of the 2024 SPONSORS for helping make it all happen. We’d also like to thank attendees and volunteers for participating, and helping form it into the philanthropic, community-oriented event it is today.

LET HARBORFEST BEGIN!
