Ice Safety Equipment Program

Marquette, MI – The Marquette City Fire Department would like to remind residents and visitors of Marquette to stay safe on Lake Superior this winter.  Thanks to a generous grant from the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community, the Marquette City Fire Department is handing out self-rescue ice picks, emergency whistles, and ice safety information while supplies last, at the #1 Fire Station, located at 418 South Third Street in Marquette.

If you have any questions, please contact the Marquette Fire Department:  (906) 225-8936.
