Marquette, MI –
The City of Marquette is transforming the former chamber building and surrounding park into a City Cultural Center and a four-season trailhead for the Cultural Trail. This project aims to enhance public amenities and increase the visibility of City services.
For over twenty years, the Marquette Arts and Culture Center (MACC) has been housed in partnership with the Peter White Public Library (PWPL). The City’s Office of Arts & Culture will be moving, with the current MACC space agreement lasting through September 2025. The City and PWPL will continue to collaborate to meet evolving community needs and support creative venues in Marquette. The Office of Arts & Culture welcomes community engagement at 217 N Front Street, Lower Level of PWPL.
This revitalization project includes numerous community partners, both civic and private, to create an accessible and welcoming space. The goal is to honor Marquette’s shared history while fostering a united and vibrant future for the community.
