Northern Michigan University will host a “Passport Day” on Thursday, November 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the lower level hallway of the Learning Resource Center. John Weting of the NMU Office of International Programs said the event is a one-step opportunity for members of the NMU and local communities to complete all required application steps for a U.S. passport at a single time and location. Participants must bring the following: a certified birth certificate; a check or money order made out to the U.S. Department of State for $67, or $52 for individuals under 16; $30 cash, check or money order to Peter White Public Library for serving as authorized passport administrators; and $10 cash, check or money order to Marquette Wallpaper and Paint for passport photos.
