Tonight, March 24th, 2023, shall be an artsy evening. With both the Art Drop Shop and Hot Plate putting on workshops, this is your opportunity to step out of your comfort zone or continue a hobby you’ve put down.
The Art Drop Shop is holding their Artist Hour, but this time it’s a crash course in animation. You can expect an overview of the history of animation, a look into the present day artform, and then you’ll even get to try your hand at a flipbook or zoetrope! This event will be held 6pm-8pm in the Art Drop Shop on the bottom floor of the Masonic Temple Building. CLICK HERE to purchase your admission online or bring $10 in with you. Meanwhile, Hot Plate is putting on a Splatter Canvas night. Registration costs $40 and includes access to the Splatter Space for 1-2 people, paint suits, paints, and a choice of one 16×20 canvas or two 11×14 canvases. CLICK HERE to access the registration form. Limited times available.
