“Spay Day USA” is an annual event to help low income families of Marquette County, get their pets spayed and neutered. Terry Troop of the Marquette County Humane Society tells us that this year MCHS is focusing our “Spay Day” efforts on Cats, because we have received a separate grant to help dogs. The Marquette County Humane Society is now making appoints for this year's event, which is the end of February. Please call the MCHS shelter at 475-6661 for more information.Note: Prices this year range from $29.00 – $75.00 depending on the sex and type of pet and whether the pet has current vaccines.
