Dana Kennedy, Supervisor – Adopt a Shelter Pet Update

The Marquette County Humane Society has worked very hard toward its goal of becoming a “low kill/no kill” shelter. Shelter Supervisor Dana Kennedy reminds us that you or your business can help by sponsoring an adult pet in need of a home or get together with a friend to sponsor! Sponsors help defray the cost of veterinary care such as spay/neuters and vaccinations. As a sponsor, you can choose to be a cat, dog or other small animal sponsor. The shelter will choose the specific pet for you and let you know who you are sponsoring. Or you can donate to our general “Shelter Pet Sponsorship Program”. Your name (or business name) will be posted on the pet&#39s website adoption page and on the pets shelter kennel or condo, or you can remain anonymous. To sponsor a shelter pet, call the shelter at 475-6661 or email shelter manager Tracey at info@upaws.org
