Denise talks about the duties of the North Country Trail Association. They develop and construct trails in the central U.P. In addition to trail construction and maintaining the trails,they also schedule hikin, snowshoeing, and skiing treks along the trails to encourage people to join. The goal is to eventually connect our trail with the Appalachian Trail in the East, and the Continental Divide Trail in the West.
