Marquette – The Kiwanis Club of Marquette will sponsor its 53rd annual chicken barbecue on Sunday, June 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lakeview Arena in Marquette.
Tickets cost $8 for adults, $6 for children. Takeout will be available.
Raffle tickets are also on sale for $2. Prizes to be awarded will include a grand prize of a $1,000 Visa gift card. The drawing will take place Monday, June 15 at the Ramada Inn. Winners need not be present to win.
Proceeds will go to support more than 60 community projects, including Bay Cliff Health Camp, the U.P. Children's Museum and the YMCA of Marquette County.
Tickets may be purchased from any club member, at the Marquette YMCA, or at the Lake Superior Community Partnership office, 501 S. Front Street, Marquette. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
