Marquette – The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center and Second Skin Shop will be holding auditions for a December production of Cathy Roe's “Ebenezer Scrooge: Jazzed Up Like The Dickens” on Saturday September 19 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. for youth 13 and under, and from 12 to 1:30 p.m. for teen and adults ages 14 and up in the lower level of the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
Additonal auditions will be held on Sunday, September 20 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. for teens and adults, and from 3 to 4:30 p.m. for youth.
Please wear dance shoes to auditions (ballet slipper, jazz shoes or footundies preferred) amd wear proper dance attire. Dance will be taught at auditions. All styles of dancers (jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, modern, ballet, etc.) are being sought.
Performances will take place December 5, 2009 at the Kaufman Auditorium. There is no fee to audition but there is a registration fee of $15 (scholarship are available)to be included in the performance.
