INTERVIEW: Beth Baker – Identity Theft Program

Spoke with Dickinson County Library Director Beth Baker about a program on “Protecting Yourself Against Identity Theft” that will be offered on Thursday, April 12 beginning at 6:30 p.m. CST at the Dickinson County Library, 401 Iron Mountain Street in Iron Mountain. Topics will include steps to protect yourself when using the Internet, scams against the elderly, identity theft through the mail, pharming, and phishing. The program is free of charge, and pre-registration is not required. For more information, call Barbara Bennett at 774-1218.
