NMU Day of Giving November 30, 2021

Northern Michigan University will hold its fifth consecutive Day of Giving on Tuesday, Nov. 30. The NMU Foundation encourages faculty, staff, alumni and friends to show their support for students through a variety of giving options.

Andy Hill, director of annual giving, said last year’s event raised more than $750,000 for scholarships, departments, programs and areas of greatest need.

“NMU leadership set in motion the giving spirit thanks to NMU board members and campus leaders contributing over $250,000 of the overall dollars raised,” he added. “On this year’s Day of Giving, we encourage the Northern community to reminisce about their time well spent and memories made here. We encourage them to embrace what they have experienced because of NMU, and to help ensure that student opportunities are always available and career-shaping and life-changing experiences continue to grow each year.”
