Bethel Baptist Church, on Grove Street in Marquette, will sponsor a weekend with former Major League pitcher Frank Tanana on Saturday and Sunday, September 10 and 11. There will be a tailgate party at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday with hot dogs, brats and burgers being served. There will also be a dunk tank, radar gun pitch contest, and door prizes. Discussions with Tanana will be held after the dinner. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at Youth for Christ Corner-Zone, Lighthouse Christian Bookstore, Northern Michigan Bank, Johnson's Sports, or Bethel Baptist Church. Tanana will give the Sunday morning message at Bethel Baptist at 9 and 10:45 a.m. For information, call 226-2062.
