The 10th annual Upper Peninsula Indian Educators Conference, Engaging American Indian Youth in the Classroom and Beyond, will be held on Thursday, February 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Huron-Erie Rooms at Northern Michigan University in Marquette. The keynote speaker at 9:15 a.m. will be Patrick Russell LeBeau, Director of the American Indian Studies Program and Associate Professor of American Thought and Language at Michigan State University.
