“Countdown to Kindergarten” is being offered for Gwinn Area Community Schools for both Sawyer and Gilbert Elementary Schools, starting on Monday, January 16. Children who will be five years old by Dec. 1, 2006 are eligible to attend these five sessions with a parent. Future Gilbert students may start on January 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the school at 250 W. Iron St. To register, call (906) 346-5726. Sawyer students will start on Monday, January 23. To register for Sawyer's program, call (906) 346-9162. There is no charge for either program.
