Diversity Student Services and the Ethnic & Cultural Diversity Committee of Northern Michigan University in Marquette will be sponsoring a week of activities, “Awakening the Dreamer in You,” as students and the greater Marquette community celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The event will start with a Candlelight March on Monday, January 16 at 6 p.m. (starting at Gant/Spalding Hall on the NMU campus). At 7 p.m. keynote speaker, Bryant Smith, will address the group gathered in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center. The public is welcome.
