The Humane Society needs your help. Dress your canine friend in the latest fashions, such as swimwear, formal attire, casual/creative. Send a photo of your dog to Wattsson & Wattsson Jewelers, 118 Washington St., Marquette, along with the $10 entry fee before October 15th. The Pet Portraits will be on display at Wattsson & Wattson, with containers below each picture to collect monetary “votes” for the best dressed canine. The semi finalist winners, in their photographed attires, will walk the runway at the Inaugural Canine Fashion Show on October 15. Judges will select the Top Dog in each category, with prizes awarded to the winners. All proceeds go to the Marquette County Humane Society. For information, call 228-5775.
