Six Arrested for Trespassing at the Huron Mountain Bakery July 17, 2020

On July 17, 2020 at approximately 1411 hours, officers from the Marquette Police Department were dispatched to the Huron Mountain Bakery, 1301 S Front St Marquette, reference multiple subjects inside the building refusing to leave upon request of the business.

Upon arrival, officers observed approximately twelve subjects inside the business chanting loudly.  Officers requested the individuals leave the property or be subject to arrest for trespassing.  Six of the subjects continued to refuse to leave and were subsequently arrested for trespassing without incident.

Assisting with this incident was the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office, Chocolay Township Police, and the Michigan State Police.
