The Northern Michigan University Orchestra will present a free concert geared toward elementary-aged children at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, in Reynolds Recital Hall.
The performance will feature demonstrations of musical concepts and orchestral instruments. It will also be shorter than normal concerts, lasting about 45 minutes. While content is tailored toward younger audience members, all are welcome to attend and enjoy free of charge.
The NMU Orchestra is under the direction of Barbara Rhyneer.
