The Marquette City Fire Department was dispatched to the above location for an Ice Rescue. As fire crews arrived Central Dispatched confirmed that there was one female patient in the water holding onto an ice shelf. A Third alarm was struck for Marquette City Fire Dept and Marquette county 131 , USCG, and Chocolay Township Fire were dispatched. The patient was safely extricated from the water shortly after arrival and the incident was down graded canceling the USCG and Marquette county 131. UPHS transported the Patient to the hospital. Assisting the Marquette City Fire dept. at the scene was Marquette City Police, UPHS, and Chocolay Township fire.
