Marquette Regional History Center Award Winners Recognized

Marquette, MI – The Marquette Regional History Center Award Winners for the 2018 annual Helen Longyear Paul Award and Peter White Award have been announced.

The Helen Longyear Paul Award is given to recognize individuals, and the Peter White Award honors foundations, companies, organizations and institutions. Both recognize exceptional effort in the enhancement, restoration, conservation or interpretation of the history of our area.

The Marquette County History Museum awarded Jim Koski the 2018 Helen Longyear Paul Award for the preservation and enhancement of history in Marquette County. The Iron Bay Restaurant and Tap Room was awarded the 2018 Peter White Award for their work to promote the area and its unique culture. Award winners are honored on a permanent plaque in the museum.
