Marquette, MI – November 23, 2018 – The Marquette Downtown Development Authority (DDA) has released a draft brand proposal for public view and comment. The new branding concept was created by Arnett, Muldrow and Associates after several trips to Marquette’s Downtown District, numerous interviews with locals, business owners, and other stakeholders, along with a community-wide survey. The branding takes into account the history of the area, the spirit of the community, and the variety of unique places within Marquette’s Downtown District. It also creates a unifying theme to help bring together all of the locations and events that are managed under the umbrella of the DDA.
The draft brand will be available for viewing and feedback on the Marquette DDA website through November 30. A feedback form is available on the page as well. We appreciate any thoughts about the draft brand so that a final brand can be created and adopted by the Marquette DDA Board. Once adopted, the brand will be fully implemented in early 2019.
