Fayette Heritage Day – August 11

Garden, MI – Enjoy 19th-century music, food, crafts demonstrations and games, as Fayette celebrates its heyday as a bustling iron-smelting company town.  Watch the national pastime at Fayette’s original baseball field.  The Fayette team takes on park visitors (ages 13 and up) in a game of vintage “base ball,” using 1860s rules—no gloves, no swearing and a bell rings for each run scored.

This event is free of charge; a Recreation Passport is required for park entry.
