Marquette – The Upper Peninsula Community Rowing Club will hold an informational meeting about their “Learn to Row” program on Wednesday, May 29 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Peter White Public Library. The meeting for high school youth will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and a meeting for adults will be from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
Classes begin with safety training and swim testing on Monday, June 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Marquette Senior High School. Adults will have a choice of two available on-the-water courses to be held during June. Youth will have a separate Learn-to-row program. For more information, email gbrayden@charter.net.
