A lunch and silent auction fundraiser to help 12 Upper Peninsula youth travel to Tanzania this spring will take place Saturday, Feb. 17th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Finlandia Hall, the university's dormitory building.The soup and salad lunch is $7 per person, $3 for children. Children under 6 years are free. Twelve Finlandia University and Northern Great Lakes Synod-ELCA students and 5 adults will travel to Tanzania, East Africa, May 8-28 for three weeks for service and learning.Tickets are available in advance or at the door.
