Poetry Reading April 17

Marquette – A celebration of poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction will be held on Friday, April 17 at 7 p.m. at the Federated Women's Clubhouse, 104 W. Ridge Street in Marquette.

Tara Acton, Ajani Sebastian Burrell, Anthony Guerriero, Brian McMillan, John Monger and Casey Thayer, this year's graduates from the master of fine arts program in creative writing at Northern Michigan University, will read from their works.

A reception will follow the readings.This event is sponsored by NMU's MFA creative writing program and Passages North literary magazine. For more information, call 227-2009.
